Hamilton County. What's hot/not, where's hot/ not, how's supply, demand, prices, rents, the mood? Thanks.

No real specifics regarding supply and demand for you but the real estate market there is not doing well. Cost of living is low but the title company I work for just closed their Indianapolis location because the market is so bad.

How do i pass Indiana real estate Law part for my RE License?

I already passed the Genral Part of the examination. but i failed twice of the state law part... its hard! anyone konw where i can get some pratice for this part?? I only have 2 more chance (3 days left). plz, anyone give me some advise! thx

The law part of the exam is the hardest. The materials you got when you took your class (i assume you went to a class) are your best resource. The questions they give are similar to the ones on the exam. The exam questions are set up so they make sure you understand the concepts behind the question. Study that section and make sure you know why the correct answer is the correct answer. I have my book that I will sell to you for the price of a gift certificate to Outback :) LOL

this is to real estate agents i live in indiana do real estate agents make good money?

i used to sell electricity and did really well but im not sure about the whole real estate thing if anyone knows anything i would like to know if they make good money and how long it takes usually

Realtors have the opportunity to make a decent living in real estate. It really depends on the individual and how motivated you are. I am successful in real estate because of who I know (builders, developers, etc.). You need to take into consideration the start up costs can be very expensive (board/mls fees, business cards, signs, desk fees, etc.), and you might work for at least six months without a paycheck.

Mike Watkins says life has been about achievements - Southside Times

“As a fifth-grader, my class was on a field trip at the planetarium at Butler. I remember being laughed at back then. I was short (he’s since peaked at 5’4”), broke,” said Watkins. “But as I look back now, my whole life has been about achieving.

“I just have to compete with me every day. I cannot stand not to win. I’m not money-driven, I’m performance-driven.”

For 31 years, Watkins has been immersed in the central Indiana real estate scene. That’s his name, his reputation. But it’s not his start.

After graduating from Indiana Central University (now the University of Indianapolis), Watkins taught business at New Palestine High School during the 1968-69 school year before moving on to Franklin High School, where he remained through the 1971-72 school year.

“I got my Master’s Degree (at Butler, ironically enough), I was a department chair, and I looked around and said, ‘I don’t know if I want to be in a classroom the rest of my career,’” he remembered. Watkins served as Dean of Students at ICU from 1975 to 1978 before finally giving into the temptation of giving this real estate thing a try once and for all.
